Symbols
symbol takes an FMP ticker, the symbol DealSize uses. For the major instruments it also takes your broker code (OILUSD for WTI crude); for the rest, the FMP ticker can differ from your broker's name (Apple is AAPL, not APLUSD). A symbol the widget doesn't recognise causes no error: the feed shows "No recent news for APLUSD". Symbols lists the major instruments and their codes, and which instruments have no news.
